About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

I am a Filipino citizen working in Hangzhou and my husband is planning to apply for L-visa in China. What are the requirements needed? Does he need an invitation letter from me or my employer? Does he need hotel booking or not anymore because he will stay in my apartment for 2 weeks..I need your immediate response. Thank you.
