Question

We're going to Guangzhou in February 2010. Can anyone please tell me, which area would be suitable for finding a hotel? I'd like something in the city center(close to a shopping area) but also easy to access when coming from the airport (Baiyun). Perhaps close to the train station as well. Or are these wishes impossible to combine?

My suggestion is to stay in Beijing Road, yuexiu Park or bearby area. Actually, Shangxijiu and Tianhe area are okay too. Tianhe is close to Guangzhou East Train Station and Tianhe commerical area. The other places are not far from Guangzhou Railway Station with shooping places and sightseeing places around. It is close to subway which can take you to Guangzhou Railway directly.
