About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

Hi. I'm a brazilian studying chinese in Beijing and I have a "X" residence permit. I'm planning to spend christmas in South Africa. I wanna now if I can re-entry China with visa? I heard that I need to apply for a re-entry. And some ppl said I don't need to do anything cause it's a residence permit so that allows me to exit and entry the country anytime. Thanks in advance!

With a residence permit, you can enter and exit China unlimited times within the validity.
