About:Guangzhou Transportation by Air

I will be arrived in Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport on Saturday Nov 7 at 14.40 pm (from Wuhan, Hubei province) and will take the next flight to Jakarta (Indonesia) in the same day at 19.05 pm. Do you think it would be possible for me to use my spare time between the flights (only about 3 hrs) to leave the airport and go for a city sightseeing or reach the nearest shopping place? Any suggestions for the fastest and cheap transportation? thanks.

I don't think you will have enought time for traveling to downtown Guangzhou, which is about one-hour by bus far from the airport. So, please just stay at the airport.
