About:Chinese Embassy in Indonesia

Hi,
I'm an indonesian citizen, 28 y-o, planning to travel through macau-hongkong-china around April '10 for about 12-days for vacation with my friend; entering china from hongkong, and leaving china for Malaysia. As far as I know, we will not need to apply visa to entering both macau and hongkong (correct?). As for China, is it mandatory to attached the hotel reservation (accomodation) to apply visa? And I read on internet discussion forum that i would need the copy of my bank account too, is that right?

You are right that Indonesian passport holders are exempt from visa to HK and Macau for 30 days, and you have to provide hotel booking in China for your China visa application.
As for the bank statement, some China embassies require it, some not, you can confirm eith the China embassy in Indonesia in advance.
