About:China Customs Declaration

Dear Custom Duty Officers,

If I send 2000 cigarettes from America to China. How much do I have to pay for the tax. Thank you very much.

Less than 400 cigarettes are duty free. So you need to pay the extra 1600. The duty for cigarette is 50%. So if a cigarettes values 10 Cny, you need to pay extra 5 cny as a duty. In total, you need to pay extra 8000cny (5cny *1600).
