About:Chinese Consulate in Melbourne

Hi there, I am travelling to Hong Kong on 12th November, returning to Melbourne on 20th November. I would like to do a day trip to China. I have downloaded the visa application from your website - if I bring application in tomorrow (27th Oct) will this be long enough? Plus, how much does a visa cost?? Thank you

Yes, it is long enough for the visa processing. It takes 4 working days for the process. A single entry tourist visa costs 40 Australian dollars.
