About:Takla Makan Desert

i was thinking about going through the Takla Makan desert with my dirt bike and i was wondering if i would be allowed to do that???

You'd better not do it. It is too dangerous, and you should notice that the Takala Makan is nicknamed "the sea of death".

In Xinjiang province you can travel by yourself, so you can cross the Taklamakan desert by car, by bycicle or, if you want, walking. I crossed it last summer with bycicle. It is so hot, but is easy to travel. You have water every 4km and a town to buy food in the middle of the crossing road. It was an incredible experience. I recommed you go and enjoy the sand.
