pls adv me where is the best plac to stay in hangzhou and shanghai...i need the hotel near the shoping area

In Hangzhou, you could find a hotel around the Wulinmen or the West Lake. As for Shanghai, hotels nearby the People's Square/Nanjing Road, or in the Lujiazui area will supply much convenience.
