About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

Do i really need to apply Transit Visa for short hours stopovers in Beijing?

I was told that i will need transit Visa for flight from Frankfurt to Tokyo (transit in Beijing for 2hrs) and tokyo to Singapore (transit in Beijing for 3hrs). Do i really need to apply the Visa for short hours transit? I'm holding Malaysia passport.Thanks

if you just stay within the airport area, you don't need to apply for amy visa.
