About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

I seem to recall seeing restrictions (on the Chinese consulate website) on bringing data devices, including laptops, into China. Can we, as business travelers, bring laptops into the country?

I have brought my laptop to China many times without any suggestion of difficulty.
