About:China Visa on Arrival

I am planning to go to Beijing for a month in January. I have an Indian passport, but am currently living in Nepal with my wife and son, who both have British passports. I was previously told that I could get a visa in Hong Kong, but have also heard that as I am Indian I may have a problem. Is this true? Also, if I were to get a visa in Hong Kong would I need to ensure that I have all the documents mentioned on the website (ie bank statement, letter of invitation etc) Thanks.

yes, now Indians are hard to get the Chinese visa in Hong Kong because of the dispute between China and India. You can have a try to apply for a tourist visa at China Embassy in Nepal, for information about applying for Chinese visa in Nepal, please refer to http://www.fmprc.gov.cn/ce/cenp/eng/ConsularService/t555055.htm
