About:Hall of Benevolence and Longevity

Hello!

I'm living in Shanghai, but my parents are coming to visit, and I want to take them on a cruise on the river. Does the 3 hour cruise end at Wusongkou or does it make a round trip back to the Bund? If it ends at Wusongkou, is there a subway that comes back into downtown?

Also, where on the Bund do the cruises start? Is it the same place I will buy tickets from?

The 3.5 to 4 hours cruise is a round trip between Wusongkou and the Bund. Only one cruise is available each day, leaving at 14:00 and returning around 17:30.
The cruise on the Bund starts from the the wharf at No.127 Zhongshannanlu Rd. The Ticket Office must be around the wharf. Wish you all a nice cruise!

One more question though... do you think it is necessary for me to buy the tickets ahead of time, or should it be ok to buy them right before the cruise?

Dear Ms.McFarland,
I suggest you buy the tickets ahead of time. because only one cruise, as you see, is available for this route. Moreover, things work better with a plan. You definitely want your parents a nice trip, so plan as well as you can.
