we are planning to travel to hongkong-macau on jan2010. what is the best place to stay in hongkong where the attractions are nearby and we could find a budget friendly place to stay at? we also need directions in reaching the ferry terminal for macau.and also, where can we stay in macau that is near the tourist attractions? is venetian macau near the macau airport? thank you

Hotel in HOng Kong: in terms of your wish, I think you could find one hotel in Central or Causeway Bay. But, I prefer Tsim Sha Tsui which is more attrative for shopping and dining. And, you could go to other part of Hong Kong easily by mtr or the Star ferry. There are two terminals for you to take the ferry to Macau: China HK City terminal in Tsim Sha Tsui and the HK-Macau Ferry Terminal in Sheung Wan. It is a good idea to stay in the Venetian Macau, which supplies free shuttle bus go and from Macau Airport and the Ferry Terminal. On the other, just outside the hotel, you could find a city-bus to any attration in Macau easily.
