About:Hong Kong Weather

Hi, We will be in Hong Kong on 4th, 5th and 6th Feb 2010. I believe it will still be cool so I should bring something warm. Could anybody suggest a quality but reasonably priced hotel near Nathan Road. Thanks.

I know the Casa Hotel which is located at Yau Ma Tei along the the Nathan Road. And the Bridal Tea House Hotel, the room of which is a little smaller. Both of the fare is about HK$500~700/night currently. Since you will come just during Chinese New Year, the price may be higher then~

Hi Mrs Deb, i would strongly recommend The Cityview Hotel, I just stayed there 2weeks ago. The room is quite ok and wat best is the location. Very near to Mtr and is between e popular night market of Temple St and Ladies St, can give a try. Will stay there again on 30th Jan 10... Enjoy ur trip.

If you are on a tight budget, I recommend that you try one of the many hotels in the Chung King Mansions condominium building on Nathan Road about 3 blocks from the water and right near the MTR station and in the heart of the action. Among hundreds of other stores and restaurants and businesses, this building has about 90 hotels, so the competition for your business is quite intense. When I was there about a year ago, you could get a single room for about HK$120 - $180.

I looked at about 5 of the hotels and they all seemed clean and well cared for, but not luxurious. I recommend looking at as many of the hotels as it takes for you to get a sense of the range and pick one you like. You can probably negotiate a little off the first asking price, especially if you are staying for several days.
