About:Changchun

Hi,

We are Malaysian Citizen, my husband now working in China (Shanghai)and holding work permit in China (Z permit). I will follow my husband and stay at there.

1)which type of visa i need to apply?
2)can i apply at Malaysia embassy?
3)what document i need to submit?
4)how long to process?
5)how the cost?

1. you can apply for a work visa dependent on your husband's.
2. you should apply for the visa from the China embassy in Malaysia.
3. you need to submit the following documents:
a). Your valid & actual passport. The passport must have at least six (6) months validity left before expiration and at least one blank page left in it.
b). One completed Visa Application Form with one additional passport photo (black & white or color is acceptable).
c). Your marriage certificate.
d). Physical Examination Certificate.
4). 4 working days, and there is express service.
5). Teh visa fee is 30 Malaysian Ringgit.

I have some question can i do my medical check up in penang and which hospital or klinik medical check up report in (besides Penang Hospital)is recognised by KL china embassy?Can i apply for a Z visa as accompanying family member how long i can stay at there.Thanks.

The China embassy in Malaysia haven't published any authorized hodpitals, maybe state-onwed ones will be ok.
You can apply for a Z visa as accompanying family members, but the duration time is granted by the embassy, nobody else can give you anexact answer.

You can apply for a Residence Permit for Alien Employee's family member.
Or you can apply for a visiting-relative L visa.

To apply for a Residence permit.
First, with Z visa notification letter and other documents mentioned by Mrs. Beata, apply for a Z visa in the Chinese embassy.
Second, within 30 days of arrival, you need to apply for a 1-year Residence permit for Alien employee's family member.

To apply for a visiting-relative L visa in the Chinese embassy
You need to provide your husband's work visa copy and other documents.
