Hi, I am having the same trouble as ms annoyed. I cant get through to the consulate by phone either. It doesnt matter which extension number I press it just speaks to me in Chinese and hangs up. I tried 1,2 and 206. It is rather frustrating as my flights are coming up soon and I need to get the visa finished. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

I'm afrqaid the quickest and most effective way is to go to the consualte in person.
