we are all six in the family going to beijing for our vacation, in getting our chinese visa in manila philippines, are we all six required to be there at the embasssy visa section? or is it okay that only one will apply for our visas? are we gonna pay in philippine peso also? please i need your answer. thank you.

You can just send one to apply for the visa for your six all on behalf. You are right you have to pay in Philippines PESO.
