Will be Tianjin November 2 and I may need to go from Tianjin Airport to Bejing Airport - is the bullet train between the two airports? Or do the bullet trains only run train staion to train staion?

No bullet train, but there are direct shuttle bus between these two airports. There are two better options I recommend: Take Tianjin AIrport bus to Nanjing Road, and get to Tianhuan Bus Station for the direct bus to Beijing Capital airport. It needs 2 hours 45 minutes and ticket fare is 70RMB. Or you can take airport bus to Tianjin Railway Station and shift to speed trains to Beijing South Railway Station.  Take Subway Line 4 to Xuanwumen Station and then change to Subway Line 2 to Dongzhimen to catch the airport express train to Beijing Airport.
