About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

Hi,

I entered China through an "F" visa and while I was there, the papers were duly processed there for me to apply for a "Z" visa. I went to the embassy in Manila and submitted all the required documents on Oct 5, came back for an interview on Oct 6th,and was told that "they will call me" on Friday, Oct 9th. IS it safe to assume that I will be granted the visa since they did not ask for additional requirements? My employer wants me to be back at work on Oct 10th and I need to finalize my ticket booking.

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated, thanks
