About:Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

We will be travelling on 5 Dec from Paris to Bangkok, and will have a 14 hours layover at the Guangzhou airport. Is it possible to go to Guangzhou during that time, or to a closer place where we would be able to discover local food outside of the airport? Can we get a visa directly at the airport? Where would you advice us to go?

I'm afraid that you will not be allowed to leave the airport unless you have a China visa. And, the Airport doesn't supply on-site visa currently.
