Question

I am Vietnamese and studying in Sweden. On November, I would like to go back to Viet Nam to visit my family. Because of the cheaper price, I decided to buy 2 tickets of 2 different flight agencies: first from Sweden to Beijing, Second from Beijing to Viet Nam. I am not going to leave the airport till my next flight to Viet Nam (within 20 hours).So I wonder will I be able to get visa exemption to stay in China airport to wait till i take the second flight to Viet Nam?

yes, you can get the visa exemption if you stay in beijing Airport for not more than 24 hours.
