I need to travel to China on Sunday (10/11/2009), but just realized I may face a mission impossible. My passport has only amendment pages left, no room for new Chinese visa. I have an appointment with passport agency to get new US passport on 8th, then plan to go the the consulate right after. Does China consulate in Los Angeles still offer rush-service to get visa the same day? I ring their number, can never talk to a real person.
