You can apply for a visa when you arrive in Shenzhen because Shenzhen as a Special Economic Zone has right to issue tourist visa to aliens. This visa allows aliens stay in Shenzhen for not moren than 5 days.

It won't take too much time for the Shenzhen visa office to issue a visa, but I heard there is always a long line there. Good Luck!
