I will arrive BaiYun Airport(Guangzhou) on 15th Oct at 6.35a.m.from Delhi.This will be my first visit so I need some informations.Hope some body will sure be able to help.Which mode of transport should I opt to reach BaiYun Hotel safely & how much it may cost?From where should I take this transport?As I will have only US Dollars with me so where should I exchange to CNY for better rate?Please remember I will not be having a single CNY at the time of arrival.Is it possible for me to get SIM Card for making international calls & how much it will cost?What is the tariff for calling to India from Guangzhou?

Hello Mr Maroof! Welcome to Guangzhou. It is really conviniece for you to get to Baiyun Hotel from the airport. Cos there are many special vehicles around the airport. We call them airport express. You can take line 2, then get off at Gardern Hotel. Then the opposite of Gardern Hotel is Baiyun Hotel. You can go across the bridge over the road. It costs you about 30RMB. Or you can also take the taxi, it may cost you over 50 to 100RMB.In the airport, there are some currency exchange centers. As I remember, they may be on the second floor of the airport. And they all incharge by the government banks.If your sim card can make international calls, you can keep it. But if you want to save money, you can buy one in 7-11 shops in the airport. Normally, one sim card will costs you 50 to 200RMB incloding the fees.
