About:China Visa on Arrival

Hi, if I stay in Shenzhen for just 1 night, do I need to get a visa here in Manila? I'm coming via Hong Kong.

yes, you need a visa to Shenzhen, you can apply for Special Economic Zone visa when you arrive in Shenzhen.

yes, Visa application should be done in the philippines prior to your flight to hongkong.

Filipino citizens do need a visa for the Chinese mainland.
The process takes almost a week, and can be obtained at the Chinese embassy or consulate in the Philippines.

It is far better to get it while in the Philippines.
