About:How to Buy Tickets

Hey,I want to go to china this winter for the first time and i wanted to travel by train.Is it possibel to buy tickets for the trip from Xian to Shanhai together with the tickets from Beijing to Xian when i'm in Beijing?Because im really scared that there won't be any tickets left.Thanks already for the answer.

It is possible provided the second leg is not too far in advamce. If it's possible, a travel agent is best placed to do this for you. However, provided you are staying a few days in Xi'an you should be ok: just make sure you buy them as soon after you arrive as you can.

I think you should be able to buy Beiing->Xian-Shanhai the second leg in advance in Beijing. Get it earlier. The softsleeper is usually easy to buy.
