who invented the silk i need to know because i am organizing the projet of acient china and thats my question pliss answer when you can

Silk was invented by Xilingshi she was trying to find out what was distructing her mullberry bushes when she saw a little worm spinning a shinney glossy case on top of them and thats how Xilingshi created silk
