I will be in Beijing during last week of October - First week of november.Is there anything to see in Harbin during this time if I want to have a side trip there?

It is not the most charming season in Harbin. No snow and ice. This may be a pity, but Harbin has many exotic buildings to see. If possible,  you can take train or bus to Russia from here, or just get to the counties on the border.
