About:Hong Kong Trains - High Speed Rail

Has anyone stayed at the The Kowloon Hotel on Kowloon for an overnight stay? I'm not sure which hotel is close to the MTR or train station I will need to travel to Shenzhen the next day. Could you advise on the train from Hong Kong to Shenzhen?
I booked a room at the Jing Du Hotel in Shenzhen which is near my meetings.
I have 2 nights in Hong Kong and would like to see the laser show at least once, so I could stay at 2 different hotels.

The hotel is not close to Kowloon Hotel but nearer to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Station and Star Ferry Terminal. If you stay there, you should take bus to Hung Homg MTR Station to catch the East Rail running to Lo Wu. He hotel of jing Du is also in Lo Wu District of Shenzhen, which can be reached by Subway Line 1 at Da Ju Yuan Station after getting out of Lo Wu Border. Hope it helps.
