Hello and good day, we (5 people/chinese/speak and read some chinese only) will arrive Hangzhou air port at 1pm from Australia) our destination is shanghai in April 2010(for 7days then we will go back). Anyone have a good travel tips to see Hangzhou and ShangHai, we are looking for hotel(cheap /under 50 AUD per room/clean/safe/center location near to big shopping centers). Thanh you

I think you could first visit Hangzhou and then depart to Shanghai by train in the afternoon on the third day. Well, in Hangzhou, please look for a hotel around the West Lake so that you could see the beauties completely. In Shanghai, please find a hotel close the the People's Square/Nanjing Road or the Huaihai Road, where located many large shopping malls.
