About:Chinese Consulate in Melbourne

I am applying for a tourist visa. I am staying with friends who live there. Do I just fill out their details on the application form as I will not have hotel reservations. Are there any other supporting documents that I need?

Which country are your friends in? Different cpuntries may have different visa policies.

My friends have been living and working in China for a year. They are originally from Australia.

You have to ask them to provide you an invitation letter enclosed with their valid address and contacts aswell as the copies of their visa and residence permit in China.
