I want to know if i apply for F visa for short term studies, can i extend it while in China?

my name is victor.i want to know if i apply for f visa for short term studies,can i extend it while in china?
secondly,can i convert it to work visa if i get a job.

Yes,it is possible to extend your visa at a Chinese public security bureau exit and entry administration. You can convert your F visa to Z visa within China or by exiting to Hong Kong to apply.
