Hi, I hold a Tanzanian passport and would like to travel to China for the Canton Fair in October. Can I apply for a Chinese Visa in Dubai. I am not a UAE citizen and I will be in Dubai prior to the fair.My hotel bookings and flights to China will be confirmed before I get to Dubai.Thank you, Amin Kanji

I advise you apply for the China visa in Tanzania ahead of your departure, since I several travelers commented on this forum that China embassy has stopped isues visas to aliens in a third country at present because of the 60th anniversary of PRC.
