Do I need to make an appointment in advance?

Hi,

I need to apply for a single-entry visa to China (going there for a conference), and I intend to go to the Chinese Embassy in Vienna this coming Monday. Do I need to make an appointment in advance? What documents do I need to bring with me?

Thanks,
MK (Norwegian citizen currently traveling in Austria)

No Appointment is needed. You need to present the following documents:
1.Your passport with blank pages and at least 6 months validity left before expiration.
2.A truly and completely filled application form affixed with one passport-sized photo.
3.A Visa Notification Form issued by Chinese authorized unit.
4. Round-trip air ticket.
5. Hotel reservation.
