Plane is better choice. Here are current flight info：https://www.travelchinaguide.com/china-flights/Flightsearch.aspAs to train tickets: it is around 620RMB for soft sleeper, Nearly 400 RMB for hard sleeper. But it will takes you at least 21 hours.
