About:Hong Kong Octopus Card

We, 2 adults 10 yr old child will be in Hong Kong for 5 nights, arriving & departing at the airport. We want to catch the train from the airport to Yaumatei by changing lines at Lai King, would we have to pay again when changing lines. Would it be better to just go through to Kowloon Station? How much is the airport train journey?
Which of the Octopus cards would be best to allow travel on buses, trains & ferries. Can you use Octopus to go on buses around Hong Kong Island including the Ding Dong bus & to Ocean Park? How much are the short train rides or buses in Kowloon or on HK island? How much are the ferry trips from Kowloon to HK Island? Thanks

Hi Edge, there is a mistake that you couldn't change from Airport Express to Tsuen Wan Line at Lai Ling. There is no connection between them. So, the easiest way that you take the Airport Express to Kowloon firstly. If you come to HK before 2010, it just takes you 190HK$ to take the Airport Express, saving 80HK$.

Get off at Kowloon station, you could hire a taxi driving you to Yau Ma Tei directly with reasonable charge.

You could purchase the regular Octopus Cards, which could be used widely, including bus, subway and ferry, shops~ You could use the Star Ferry from Kowloon to HK Island.
