Hi. I am a Malaysian, currently working at Singapore.I am going to Beijing on 14th Oct this year.Is the consular office opens on 2nd Oct?The embassy will be closed from 1st to 3rd Oct right?If I need the rush service, can visa be done within the same day?What documents that I need to bring along?Can I apply for visa at Embassy of China at Singapore but depart from Kuala Lumpur?ThanksRegards,Mr Choy

The China embassy will be closed from Oct 01 to Oct 08, 2009.Yes, you can get the visa the same day if you go to the embassy in an early morning and request the rush service.The documents depend on what type of visa you will reply.You can apply for the China visa in Singapore and then depart from Malaysia. However, the same day service may be not available in Singapore, and you may have to pay more visa fee than applying in Malaysua as a Malaysian person.
