About:Chinese Embassy in U.K.

I am an Italian national living in England. My son and daughter-in-law live in Hong Kong. They have booked a holiday for me: I fly from England on 22/10/09(arrival in Hong Kong on 23/10)and I will return to England on 06/11/09. Do I need to get a visa from England in advance?
Thank you very much for your attention.

You do not need a visa for HK if you are travelling on an Italian passport, you can stay for 90 days as a tourist
