About:Embassy of Sri Lanka in China

Hi, I am in China Now working for an company. Actually I came in Visit Visa. I have been working for 2 years and now i want to go back to Sri Lanka, and my employer is going pay the fine here in china for over stay. The question is will i have any problem in Sri Lanka Airport (due to my over stay)

If you can leave China, there will be no problem in Sri Lanka Airport, but make sure your passport is valid.

Mr.Nigel, thanks for the reply. Since my employer is going to pay the fine , will I be immediately sent to Sri lanka without any problems.

It depends on the Exit and Entry Administraton of China who have corresponding measures for handling your issue.

Mr. Jacob, SO due to my issue will i be detained (to be frank : will I be jailed) by the China Exit and Entry Administration. My Passport is valid for another 5 years.

The Exit and Entry Administration of china will give you exact answer for your overstay.
