I am planning a trip to Guangzhou and Hongkong to go to the wholesale markets there for work during Oct3-Oct 12.Will like to check if anyone of your know if the wholesale markets will be open during these period as i understand that it is China's public holiday.

Yes, it will be open and the busiest time for most off people are in holiday. :=)

As I know, all of the wholesale markets are opend then. The National Holiday has no affection on the markets.
