Hi

We will be visiting Shanghai-HuangShan-Suzhou by package tour from 17-Oct to 24-Oct with last stop at Shanghai. Since it is our 1st visit to Shanghai, appreciate if anyone can tell us how to go to Suzhou by train as we plan to extend 3 days to stay in Suzhou.

Also, on the last day, please advise the best place to leave our luggage for half day so that we can visit more of Shanghai before leaving ? We were advised to take the Maglev train to Pudong Airport without any details yet.

HI Julius, are you asking for the train infor from Shanghai to Suzhou? If so, please go to Shanghai Railway Station where you could reach by taxi, subway and city-bus easily from downtown area.

Which hotel are you going to stay in? So that I could arrange you a proper transportation to the airport. On the other hand, you could leave the luggage at your hotel for a half day. Most of hotels have this kind service.

Hi Frankie & Jerry,

Sorry for not replying earlier, was away and no access to www. Thanks for your info. We know now which train station to be to get to Suzhou fr Shanghai but not sure if it is convenient to get to LongYang St fr Shanghai Railway St to take the Maglev with our luggages. Any restriction carrying luggages in Metro ? If OK, shall we take the M4->M2 or M1->M2 ?
We are not staying in Shanghai after returning from Suzhou. Thinking of taking an early train to visit more places in Shanghai for the day while waiting for our flight at 9pm. That's why we need to leave our luggage somewhere, otherwise it would be impossible to travel around. My best guess is to leave at Sh Railway St.

Any indication of cost will help us a lot to plan for the transportation. Hope I am not asking for too much. There are info in many www site but not sure if they are up-to-date.

Regards & all the best for the coming golden week celebration !

Hi Julius, departing from Shanghai Railway Station, please take the subway Line 1 to the People's Square and then transfer to Line 2 here to the Longyang Rd. You could take your luggages with you, there is no restriction.

Yes, you could find places in Shanghai Railway Station for luggage left. Not very sure about the charge, but should not be expensive.
