About:Chinese Consulate in Auckland

We are leaving NZ in Nov to go to Europe for 5 months and are visiting friends in Shanghai on our way back to NZ in April.We need to apply for a single entry visa to China before we leave but I see that this visa is only valid for 3 months ?? What should we do please.

yes, you can't apply for your China visa so early, otherwise, it expires before you use it. You can apply for Chinese visa in Europe before coming to Shanghai.
