Hi, my mom's HKSAR's passport expired on Jan '09. She is a green card holder and also a HK permanent resident. There is an family emergency and she needs to go back to HK from NYC on October. Would there be a problem for her to leave NY? Or what other documents does she need to travel? Please advise, thanks in advance!

The immigration officer of USA will judge the exit of New York, she needs the HKSAR's passport to return to HK. I heard that there are lost of criterias for judging the revoking of Green Card
