It's my first trip in Hongkong.. Going on 30 nov - 2 dec.. My hotel is L'hotel Nina.. I have a few questions though :)

1. Is it near the city area for shopping?
2. I'm going on a shopping spree..which markets/shopping centres do I need to look out for if I want cheap and bargain buys? Like those night markets around the streets..
3. Is there any easy transportation besides taxi from me to get to popular places like Wan Chai/Tsim Sha Tsui/Yau Ma Tei/Mongkok if I'm staying at L'Hotel Nina?
4. If I were to choose another hotel.. which hotel would you recommend? Somewhere near the city area which I can shop alot till the night..

Thanks everyone! Would really appreciate your reply.

1. the hotel is in Tsuen Wan, not near to the main shopping areas of Hong Kong.
2. You can visit to Lady's Street, Temple Street for nigh markets and shopping in Tsim Sha Ysui, caseway Bay or Central which is for brand stuff.
3. Yes, you can take subway at Tseun Wan West to Tsim Sha Tsui and then change another line to Yau Ma Tei, Mongkok.
4. Suggest you choose a hotel in Kowloon area, like Tsim Sha Tsui, Yau Ma Tei or Causeway Bay. It will be much convenient.

Hi, thanks for the info.

1. May I ask if the MTR station is near L'Hotel nina?
2. Suppose I take a taxi from my hotel to the city area (Mongkok), how much will it cost?
3. Are there any shopping areas near this hotel?

Thanks!

1. The nearest MTR station is the Tsuen Wan West of the West Rail. You could walk to there from the Hotel in 5 minutes. But, I think you could go to the Tsuen Wan station of the Tusan Wan Line. It is about 10 minutes from the Hotel on foot. By this line, you could go to Mongkok directly, taking only 25 minutes and 7.5HK$/adult. Ihis fee is much cheaper than taking a taxi.

As for shopping, there are Nina Tower, The Vision City-City Walk, Tower Square, Discovery Park Shopping Center and Tsuen Wan Plaza. All of them are located in walking-distance from the hotel.

The branded clothes, bag and cosmetics as well as lastest digital products are cheap in HK, which is a tax free city. Not very sure what you will buy, but believe me that you will cost all of your money when you come back from shopping in HK~
