You don't need a visa to Hong Kong, Zimbabweans are exempt from a visa to HK for up to 90 days. Now, I'm afriad you can't get a China visa in South Africa, I hear that applicants should apply for visa to China in their own country because of the 60th anniversary of China, at the end of October, I think you can apply for China visa in South Africa with the work permit of South Africa.
