Hello, I'm travelling with my friend . No Guided Tour agents. i will arrive shenzhen about 12pm on 14 Nov 2009 by flight. I plan to go to Guilin using the overnight train that take 13hrs from shenzhen to Guilin.1. Is that correct / good plan? shenzhen - guilin by train?2. how many days is best to spend in guilin?3. IS the train convinient to use ?how do i book for train ticket? can i get the ticket over the counter without making reservation?4. how do u get to train station from shenzhen airport?5. what difficulties i probally will face ?thanks

1. train is convenient and cheap, good means2. 1 day in Guilin is enough, suggest you stay 1-2 days in Yangshuo which is more beautiful3. no need to book the train ticket. The tickets are sold 10 days in advance. You can buy the tickets at the railway station directly. 4. There should be the shuttle buses from the airport to train station directly.5. No any difficulties. You'd better read more tips before your travel.
