Mr Neal,  thanks for the information. Perhaps this is not your field, but I will ask anyway, hope you don't mind.  Do we have to show that we have a return tickets.    For example, we do not know whether we will be in China for 3 or 4 weeks, we have only booked  one way tickets there so far.  Whilst in China we will book a return tickets to leave China.

The embassy issuing the visa for you have the final say to this, but I think the return tickets will be required.
