Woo is 吴in Chinese. Generally, no specific meaning of a surname. However, if thnk about its origin, there is something to say. Wu as a family name/surname cames from ZHou Dynasty, because of a mountain called Wushan. That is the hometowm of Zhou Tribe and later Zhou Dynasty. 口means mouth, words and 天means God/Sky. So, 吴means words spoken by the God, refers to speak loudly. Hope this is helpful.
