hello Mr Ren, my name is Sandra Nightingale and i am at present studying a two yr course at Northbrook college in Worthing. England. I am choosing to do a presentation of the chinese shadow puppets for one of my projects. I would be very greatfull if you would talk to me about things you know about this subject that you would think would be of a help to me. I am going to make the puppets and demonstrate the shows in a presentation, and i want to make them the old fashioned way. Thank you, if you think you can help me in any way. Hello Mr. Ren: I have just aquired some shadow puppets that look very similar to the ones you have pictured. They belonged to my sister who has since passed. These were probably made from the hides of animals mentioned and are all intact with wires to move parts. I know nothing about them, could you please tell me what dynasty they might be from and if they are worth my keeping or selling.
